Welcome to
Career Rocket

We help people get their careers on track and their employers to thrive.

How we do it in 4 steps…
Help you visualise what success looks like.

Get to the root cause of what’s holding you back.

Take you on a journey of discovery – integrating coaching with bite-sized learning experiences.
Use the power of support groups to keep you on track.

Think of it like going on an exciting trek in a foreign country. The coach is your tour guide – having the experience and know-how to keep you safely on course. The learning experiences are the landmarks and sights you enjoy along the way. One without the other limits the impact. No tour guide and you miss key landmarks. No landmarks? Then you’ll need a very entertaining tour guide!

Is it relevant for me?
You will belong to one of these three categories:

That really depends. If your life and career are in total balance, then maybe not. But if a wall is blocking your path to success… then yes, we’ll help you smash through it.

You will belong to one of these three categories:
Shapers
Early stage career, typically 20-30 years of age, and looking to break through the career barrier quickly.
Shooters
Mid career, typically 30-40 years of age, but needing an injection of adrenaline to fast-track you to future success.
Shifters
Stuck in a rut, typically 40+, already advanced to a middle management role, but needing a leg-up to that senior role you deserve.
How does it work?
Vision ahead
During onboarding, we work together to paint a picture of a future you. Typically, this is an exciting yet achievable vision, 12 months from now. We frame it as your goal.
Milestone mapping
We then work backwards to identify key milestones along that journey. Successfully completing those milestones should see you reach your intended goal, on or ahead of schedule.
Personal growth support
You will receive individual coaching whilst progressing along your personal development journey. The coaching and personal development work hand-in-hand to support you. Each month we check in to see how you are performing against your milestones, so you are never alone.
Support group setup
Whilst working individually, you will also be placed into a group of five fellow users. We call this your support group. You will be from the same category we’ve described above and speak the same language, so there will be no communication barrier.

The support group encourages one another, shares experiences, and acts as a buddy network. It does this through a combination of online meet-ups and your own private message board.

You can opt out of joining a support group if you wish, but we’d encourage you not to, because it really can be a game changer.
Describe the development journey...

As you will appreciate, we need to protect our secret sauce, but we can reveal this…

Experience has taught us that three things are needed when making significant step changes:

Looking Inwards.
Looking Outwards.
Looking Forwards.
You will learn what that means for you when you join us.

Then, our catalogue of incredibly powerful learning experiences will become available to you. The experiences you access will depend upon your goal and the journey you are taking. You focus solely upon the learning most relevant to you – no fluff and no twaddle. They’ve been carefully crafted and curated by our team of continuous professional development experts to deliver the outcomes professional people need.
Explain the coaching to me…
We offer a hybrid form of coaching which blends dedicated coaching from a real life coach, and a coaching app for day-to-day support. This means you will progress through our excellent AI driven coaching app, but under the guidance and supervision of an experienced human.

You will have a 1-1 session with your human coach each month and you can expect them to monitor the progress of your development journey and contribute some unique insights of their own.
Explain the learning experiences to me…

Real change happens when you do stuff, not learn stuff. Think of it like this… I can watch a video on how to fix a leaking tap in my bathroom. But it won’t fix the leaking tap, unless I take the actions the video instructs me to make.

We provide you with knowledge through short, insightful learning experiences. They will take around 10-20 minutes to consume – that’s why we call them bite-sized – and they cover a breadth of subjects across areas of life and business.

Crucially, a set of challenges sit alongside that knowledge… this is the action you need to take. What those are will vary according to each learning experience. Completing those challenges will maximise the chances of reaching your goal and enjoying those positive life changes.

How we are different…

Aside from our approach of blending coaching and learning experiences, we have particular values and beliefs that form the bedrock of our culture. We believe in…

Building relationships not sales
We meet everyone before they join us to ensure it’s the right fit for both parties. It’s not about the money for us, it’s about helping people be their best self.
Quality and value in equal measure
We are confident you will receive an incredible service from us at an unbeatable price (most one hour 1-1 coaching sessions cost upwards of £100 alone).
Skills over information overload
Our primary focus is changing behaviours not embedding an encyclopaedia in your brain.
No cheap marketing tricks
There are no gold/silver/bronze membership hierarchies with us and definitely no “act-now” fake discounts that refresh each day.
Our team
Meet the dedicated professionals behind our mission.

Are there other ways to find success?
Of course. There are always other options. You could:
Similar service options
Find other providers like us who promise something similar.
Do it yourself
Figure stuff out in your own time, and your own way.
Use a mentor
Mentors can be excellent knowledge sources – they know you and they have typically reached the standard you aspire to. However, they can be difficult to find and what worked for them might not necessarily work for you.
Structured training course
If your goal needs an industry specific qualification, with a certificate to show for it, then that may be the best route.

We never do the hard-sell. We want our members to trust us in helping them, but only with a confidence that we’re the right partner for their needs.

The time commitment…

The life and career changes we believe our programme can create seldom take place overnight. And they generally require effort on your part.

We ask you to commit to twelve months of working with us to reach your goal. We offer two subscriptions:

Annual
Paid up front and at a discounted rate.
Monthly

Set up a monthly standing order, so you can spread the cost over the year.

We recommend you spend 3-5 hours each week, working with your coach on your learning journey. Hour long slots on different days work best.
